The Ghostblade is one of the characters in the base game of DNF Duel, originally being announced on December 19, 2021. He is based on the Ghostblade sub-class of the Male Slayer in Dungeon Fighter Online, fighting alongside with Ghost.

Story
A Slayer that fights alongside the "Ghost" he is bound with.
All Slayers resist the fate of their Ghost Hands in their own ways. However, they are unable to control their Ghost Hands when they go berserk in the end, thus leading to a tragic end. However, some manage to escape this destiny by sharing their body; now neither dead nor alive, with their Ghost, leading to the coexistence of two souls.
Characterized by their ashen bodies and Ghost Hands that glow an icy blue, it is said that their lifelessness makes it seem as if they are but a ghost wielding a sword.
Character Overview
A swordsman who has a mortal bound with the warrior, Ghost. Ghostblade fights alongside Ghost, and his precise poking techniques and fast speed allow him to unleash relentless attacks. When Awakened, attack is increased, allowing for stronger attacks.

- Has a fast mobility move with different destinations depending on Ghost's position.

The following is a list of changes that Ghostblade has undergone over the course of the game's history.
V1.09
- HP Gauge increased to 950 from 900.
- Guard Gauge increased to 1150 from 1100.
- During Awakened Effect, guard gauge damage and movement speed increase effects have been added.
- Ghostblade's crouch and crouching guard has reduced hurtboxes.
- Ultimate Phantom Slash's blockstun has been adjusted, making the opponent guard until the final hit.
- Spectral Eradication's recovery has been reduced, now being cancelable with Ghost Retracer.
- Drive Slash's 2nd hit has an expanded hitbox. The third hit of Drive Slash's hitbox has also been expanded, but now with the ability to be canceled with MP skills upon hit.
- Cross Slash's recovery has been reduced.
- Ghost: Single Strike's untech time has been extended.
- Dyad: Soul Cross can now be canceled with Ghost Retracer.
- Ghost Retracer's recovery upon teleporting has been reduced.
